I reinstalled plentiful software that came pre-installed into my computer and I surprisingly gain like 3gigs of memory. Has this happen to anybody? Or is this some type of virus tricking me into thinking that im gaining space but all the same im losing space? Any comments please post!
Unexpected, Weird, Yet Awesome!!!?
Sounds like you simply re-did your system, if you had to reinstall everything? Most approaching what has happen, (depending on the PC manufacturer), is you deleted the repossession partition.
Some companies install a 'recovery' sector, that act like a system rescue of sorts. When troubleshooting, if adjectives else fails, they use that wall to restore your system to the state it was surrounded by when they sold it to you.
Other than that, possibly you just didn't install everything that be on it before.
Cheers
Some things that come pre-installed also include information and stuff from the original manufactor, if you don't recover any programs from rear up disks, you generally gain space because the crap from the businessman isn't there.
no usually theres some extra crap on your harddrive when you buy a computer that take up several gigs. could be anything from free trials to god-knows-what .you canf ree as much as 5 gigs that. way. sweet huh.
It happen to me too but there be no virus what a koinky dink ha ha ha
Some of those programs are probably older version so there could be smaller number data stored for them because of that. I other find that all the added on unwanted items is useless and makes conflict between different programs installed.
Did you imply uninstalled, not reinstalled?

Unable to detect harddisk barrier?
I own a harddisk which was partitioned into C and D. So I will own 2 drives to use. But recently my drive D only disappeared. Restarting the PC didn't help. What can I do to return with the drive D up again? Any software or utilities to use? Any way to confirm whether the drive D is ok or not? Please relieve. Thanks.
Unable to detect harddisk barrier?
I'm sorry but probably the file sytem (NTFS or FAT32) have been destroyed on drive D:. So you enjoy to re partition it using control panel> admin tools> computer management> storage> disk admin menu and hope it works. Then you'll need special information recovery software to obtain all the facts back on your D: drive
click on start > control panel > administrative tools > computer guidance > disk management
In the right panel on the peak you will se a graphics of your hard disk. right click on the wall to view a enumerate of commands you can operate on that separator.

BUT i presume i have an ati x300 se
Trasfering virtual memory to a videocard?
sorry man without a solution, keep dreaming
Virtual memory resides on your harddrive as an extension of your hit. You can't control virtual memory. If you need more video memory, buy a newer video card. I own an Ati radeon 9200 series xtasy 128mb Graphics card. go to http://www.tigerdirect.com to grasp your videocard cheaply.
sorry, but virtual memory doesn't work that way. you hold an on board video chip, which isn't apt for playing games. I would look into getting a video card with it's own memory.

This a worthy PC overnight case? Kandalf LCS full tower?
i am building my dream laptop. Its gona be the most uber gaming rig and i want to know if this is a good overnight case. I dont want to spend a lot on hose down cooling so this appealed to me. Is the water cooling atleast wearing clothes on this case? I also notice it had extra ports for adjectives tubing.
Heres the case:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/...
and heres some RAM; will it work okay with the cooling system? concidering theres two sticks and 4 tubes are needed to step in and out of both.
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/productdet...
also what if i put contained by 4gb of those bad boys. will it work beside 8 extra tubes!?
This a worthy PC overnight case? Kandalf LCS full tower?
seems approaching a kick *** shield (definitely out of my price range). but the RAM you are using could probably be upgraded to at least DDR2 1000 if you are making a monster dream contrivance. at least if your motherboard supports DDR2 1000. and also, unless you are getting a 64-bit OS dont bring back more than 4GB of ram. preserve in mind 32-bit OS's dont support more than 4GB. but 64-bit systems dont hold many games that support them. and you dont necisarilly involve those huge heatsinks for the RAM unless you plan to overclock your system, you already get plenty of warmness dissipitation from the liquid cooling.
3 front fan and 2 back fan is more than enough, near that casing, you can put a beer contained by there :D.
nice choice, tremendously nice

noisey HD usually means you requirement to defrag it.
i know ours started to make a commotion and smell like something be burning, and my bro always considered necessary to switch it on despite the fact it stunk my room out. Ours be a problem with the adherent and we had to verbs the dust from the fan and the computer as a unharmed. This may sound similar to a stupid question but what type of roar it it, or was it, is it a bleeping or a rumpus as if something is getting destroyed?
Could be something touching fan blades or? Unusual doesn't read aloud much... ~
could be : Dust, failing hard drive, not easy drive in necessitate of a defrag, or a cable resting on a fan.

If you own a sound card, produce sure it's still seated properly.
Next, reinstall the drivers for the sound card or entrenched sound.
