Processor Temperature?

Hello, i just this minute got an intel Pentium D 3.34Ghz Dual core Processor, and i enjoy been have problems with boil. I have tons of fan, and a liquid cooling system, but it seem to be getting quite hot. My cross-question is. What is the optimal operating temperature for this charitable of processor? If there is something wrong beside the thermometer on my motherboard, i dont want to turn off the auto shut sour if it gets too hot, but i obligation to know what kind of heat these processors run at. Please let me know, i enjoy had this problem for far too long.

Processor Temperature?

even next to fans and cooling a middle-of-the-road chip running this fast will still run around 130 to 140. dont verbs its ok. if it get over 180 consequently i would have it looked into.

also you might want to try to replace the thermal gell underneath the fan and heatsink and believe it or not a low wattage power supply can bring heat build up as ably.

if the supply is too low for all the stuff contained by your system without giving it any reserve the supply beside start running hot in charge to keep up near your needs.

essentially its like this.

the faster the processor the hotter it get.

more speed means more power is needed.

core duo runs almost 75-150 watt on its own to power the chip

the memeory needs 30-40

the board necessitate 50-75

hd need 40-50

cd/dvd requests 50 watts

so add them up if you dont own at least 500 watts you could be dragging you ps down.
There’s a thermometer on my motherboard how do I access it?
