Sound issues for computer?

i be deleting some second-hand goods from my computer and i have accidentally delete this program called nouns max. recently, i haven;t have sound. when i clear itunes, it says: iTunes have detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/video playback may not operate properly. How do i fix this?



(I hold a DELL DIMENTION 2400 DESkTOP using WINDOWS XP)

well here's the driver for your card, perchance it contains the soundmax app too.

Perform Restore from the Recycle Bin.
You will need to reinstall the audio driver. Either DL it from Dells site or use the Driver disc that came near the machine.
