RAM Question?

Can I combine 1 512MB DDR333 and 1 512MB DDR400 for Intel(R) Desktop Board D865PERL?

RAM Question?

Yes, both are compatible next to the board.

They won't run in dual-channel mode but they will both work.
no your sure cant they hold different buss speeds
well sometime it runs but ur system will starts acting, but the certainty is if ram doesn't contest u will still runing on one 512 even if it shows 1gb ram. or ur system won't start up so better seize the same brand and same bus speed.
Try to consult you're motherboard guide if it supports different memory speed.

Hope that helps.
Yes you can.

The ddr400 (pc3200) will run at ddr333 (pc2700) speed.

The RAM is backwards compatible. PC3200(400MHz), PC2700(333MHz) and PC2100(200MHz) are adjectives backwards compatible and will work together, but will only run as promptly as the slowest memory dimm installed.
Yes you can. Your mobo will just knock the ddr400 to ddr333. You might even capture them to run in dual-channel, but it's a long shot. So yes, a moment ago throw em in. DO NOT believe the first ppl who answered, they product me laugh.
