Its hard to vote. I see a video card slot but cannot tell if it AGP or PCI express. The specs don't document a video card slot available either. The Video Card Slot may not be enabled. My son have an IBM Business Computer, it had an AGP Video Card Slot. I put a card surrounded by the slot but kept going to the on board video. The AGP Slot be Disabled. I called IBM they told that model AGP slot be Disabled. So you may not be able to install a video card. Call Compaq to see if that video card slot works.
If the attached contact is your motherboard than you will need a PCI Express Video card. Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com will go what your looking for at a good price.

Tough luck! There is no graphics card slot. Your chipset supports PCIe graphics but it be not implemented within your motherboard.

A PCI graphics card will work on the PCI slot but it would hardly be any faster than your integrated graphics.
