P4 or core2duo?

is CORE2DUO 1.80ghz faster than P4 3.20ghz?

P4 or core2duo?

core2duo adjectives the way. There's more to a processor than ghz.
in need a doubt

64 bit processing

2 cores, lower energy usage

lower warmth output

longer battery existence for laptops
The first answer is wrong. Core2duo is NOT two processors, it is a dual core in a single processor. That individual said, the second answer was accurate here, with the 64 bit processing and lower power consumption, you are probably a bit better rotten with the core2 than the standard p4
Yes! The Core2Duo is primarily two processors put together with respectively running at 1.80ghz. That means it's at lowest as fast as a 3.60ghz (1.8 x 2 = 3.6) P4.

Since Intel have also made many improvements to the Core2 architecture, the Core2 can in actuality process more with a lower clock speed than an equivalent P4 could. Also, the Core2 will run cooler and use smaller quantity power.

There is no reason to put a P4 within a new computer anymore near the Core2 available.
