P4 2.4ghz or AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.8ghz?

The Sempron would be better surrounded by games. In office applications, the difference would not be so definite. But many Sempron64 could overclock to 2.4Ghz on a appropriate motherboard. That's real roar for the buck processor.
The AMD is likely to act better. The reason the Sempron is call a 3000+ is beacuse it operates to a similar plane to a 3Ghz Pentium processor.



It operates at 1.8Ghz, but is more rationalized, so gets as much work done as the equivalent 3Ghz.
The P4 is the better chip. The Sempron is an discount chip.
I prefer you you to use amd because currently i am using P4[2.4GHZ ]and has get a heating problem,it get's heated exceedingly soon and amd doesnot have any heat problem.

although its 3000 , and the p4 is 2400.. dunno the speed of the p4. within ghz...



better to get x2 amd or something.. it's adjectives about the dual core =)
