Pc Restore Disk's?

Hi i hold recently bought a fujitsu laptop running window vista. I have another computer running window xp, if i use the restore disk i got beside the fujitsu on my other computer would it work?Please note my other notebook is a e-machines 512mb ddr2 ram

Vista is also more strenuous on using alike key on more than one computer (so I hear) so I wouldn't be using it on a computer that is to say going to go on splash.



The only trouble I can see you running into is a) It'll flag up that it isn't a Fujjie and you won't know how to 'restore' b) You won't have the correct core drivers for that system from the restore cds for another computer and hold to hunt them down yourself. c)512mb, no doubt 'handle' vista, but will it be as smooth?
THIS MIGHT WORK BUT I WOULD NOT RISK TRYING IT BECAUSE.

1: IT COULD DESTROY YOUR RESTORE DISKS.

2: IT COULD WRECK YOUR PC.

it wont work the disk will just work on a fujitsu and i doubt the emachine is able to knob vista the 512 mb is too low check the vista minimum requirements
You should be able to create a restore disk for your laptop using the XP installation disc, don't use the vista one as it is only for your laptop and could exact problems.
No don't do it . The problem is that it's a restore disc not a Windows install disc. It has the software and drivers specifically for the Fujitsu. If you try to install it on your other computer it will install the wrong drivers for everything and will crumple your computer. Also of course it's bent which Microsoft can check on line.
