Netgear WPN511 wireless adaptor?

I hold a new Netgear WPN511 wireless notebook card which I am trying to install onto my new advent computer. The system software i'm using is Windows Vista Premium. I hold intall the drivers for the card but it's still not responding. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

There could be number of the reasons but most possible drivers are not compatable with Vista. I know some family that have to downgrade brand new computer to XP just because abundantly of applications are not working correctly on Vista.

First things to check if any updates available for the Vista drivers. Does system competent to recognize alien hardware?

If not you might have out of order card.

Also try removing a card and putting it back.

Check if in attendance is any hardware conflicting problems under device principal.

Are there any icon in the tray? Do you use a WEP code on your see? Did you use the New Connection Wizard and the Network Setup Wizard? Try using these new drivers that are supposed to be Vista compatible.
