Since I installed XP pro on my computer(AMD Athalon XP 2400 +) I own had no nouns, its a new aged computer therefore I reformatted the tough drive to deal beside the problems that was on the unproved hard drive. Since doing so Ive have no sound, I one and only realized it since I installed winamp and get a directsound error. The kicker to the whole point is that contol panel says everything is working fine. Ive looked for the drivers for the soundcard I have(via ac'97 enhanced audio controller) and I cannot integer out how to attach the driver to he soundcard.
Or is that even my problem?

Go to Http://www.driverguide.com , sign up, and you should be able to find the driver to your nouns card, but first you have to look on the inside to see what brand and other info, write it down and hunt for it on that website.
go to the manufactuers net site and down load the nouns drivers
The log in fr driver guide is drivers and P/W is all I construe it a generic . That is a good site too
