If my workstation has be unused for a while, even minutes at times, it freezes upon trying to logon. I have to reboot everytime to use it. Also I other get a popup that say Some startup programs have be blocked. I've clicked on the popup and it has the item i.e. blocked, but I don't recognize it so I won't enlarge it.
Not terrifically workstation savvy, so..?
R u using Vista and did u change anything by using msconfig. I be getting the same error, the method i fixed it is that u also get an route than say do not show this message again,,only click on it and the next time when u boot up u wont show that message
Good Luck
Just at first quick look at this it sounds like some surety software is blocking these programs from StartUp, like StartUp Cop, from System Mechanic 6. If you don't hold a security side that does this, than I'd have to say aloud some 'baddies',(trojan, spyware, etc.) have infiltrated.
Don't knock yourself so high-speed. You're wise NOT to click on or plain anything you don't recognize or perceive a hunch it might not be legit.
When was the concluding time you ran a anti-virus scanner on your PC? When be the last time you run a anti-spyware scan on your PC? If huh??? is the answer to either one or both, later it's assumed you've NEVER done either your PC may enjoy several nasty virus on your hard drive that seem to be to be doing what you describe.
I'd look into getting a good anti-virus scanner that also removes spyware. Feel free to contact me for more info on this, OK?
