I am competent to get nouns on the screen but no through the speaker. All programs are set to the proper position and the the computer say all systems are working. Why not

If it is not a software problem, make sure your speaker cable is plugged surrounded by to the correct port on the sound card, and if your speakers are powered, the power is on.
