I own a 2 year old dell 4600 which have only 256mb of push and I was wondering if I make the addition of 256mb more will I be able to explain to a big difference in running?
BTW I do have 3 more slots and will be getting a very same ram chip as the one I already own, I just go from a 80gb HD to a 160gb HD and it really made my system faster but I want it a little more faster and I also am running low on RAM and my system is using around 3/4 of it physical memory do you reckon I will notice a overall transformation or will Ibe wasting my money.
Need push support?
I would put as much RAM in your computer as possible; a moment ago figure out how much your computer can hold.
ur comuter will use DDR run into. if i were u i would toss the 256 and buy 4 512mb strike, 2gbs total. which u will see a major restoration. if thats to much money then achieve a gb of ram
The silver would be minimal depending in the proccessor you hold. But more memory is better, try a 512 its pretty cheap too.
by upgrading your RAM another 256MB you will notice a stained difference in the amount of time it take to open an application.
Also, if you own more than one application open at a time, it will swap between them better and you won't make out as much lag while doing it. Depending on what you do next to your PC you may notice this as big difference, or not. I'm assuming that by asking you use your contraption a lot. So, I'm sure you will be pleased near the upgrade. However, 512 is still low, if you have the money I would budge for a 512 stick of RAM. It's not that much more expensive (less than $10 in some cases).
Good luck!
